Across the nation, many teachers are getting laid off or trying to find alternative sources of income just in case. Some are turning to online teaching. I have taught online for over five years and have found the experience to be truly rewarding. However, online teaching is a much different experience from teaching in the traditional classroom. It can be extremely rewarding but also somewhat challenging, especially in the beginning. These ten tips for effective online teaching can help make a difference for those who are teaching online or those considering online teaching.

I am having a hard time trying to become an online teacher when it seems like everyone wants online teaching experience.
