This is an image of one of the convicted conspirators in Abraham Lincoln's assassination. The other three were Mrs. Surratt, Lewis Payne, and David Herold.

George Atzerodt had the mission to assassinate Vice President Andrew Johnson as a part of John Wilkes Booth's conspiracy against the Federal Government. However, he did not even try.
