Lieutenant General James Longstreet. He fought in both the Battles of Bull Run, Fredricksburg, Chickamauga, Gettysburg, and the Wilderness Campaign where he was wounded. Longstreet was an outstanding subordinate General that did poor when on his own. At war's end, he became a Republican and was appointed to several positions by Ulysses S. Grant.
