Matches Required Demographics

This part of the rubric is checking whether the grant provider has focused in on a specific type of school district demographically. An example of demographic requirements can be found in the Arts in Education Competitive Grant Program. If you scroll through this grant invitation you will find an area labeled 'Priority'. This describes the type of program the Federal Government is seeking to fund. It states, "The Secretary gives absolute priority to media literacy projects, implemented in schools where the number of children from low-income families equals or exceeds 75 percent...." If your school does not meet this criterion, you should look elsewhere for grants.
