Explain the three legs of the triangular trade system.
Answer: The traders would leave New England with Rum and go to the gold coast of Africa. They would trade with African chiefs for captured African slaves. Then the traders would proceed to the West Indies and exchange the slave for molasses which they would take back to New England. The traders would turn a profit on every leg of the trade.

What precedent did the legal case of John Peter Zenger establish?
Answer: It set a precedent against judicial tyranny in libel suits. It also gave newspaper editors more freedom of the press. However, they did not have complete freedom of the press.
