    Answer: He was considered a hero after the Battle of Tippecanoe against the Shawnee Indians.


  2. What is Tecumseh's curse?

    Answer: This is the belief that Shawnee chief Tecumseh cursed the presidency so that presidents elected in a 'zero' year (ex. 1860) would die in office. This held true until 1980 when Reagan survived an assassination attempt.


  3. How long was Harrison in office before he died?

    Answer: One month. He took office on March 4th 1841 and died on April 4th.


  4. How do we know that John Tyler did not have the support of the Whig party?

    Answer: When he vetoed a Whig-sponsored bank bill, his entire cabinet save one resigned.

    Answer: Florida.
