Would you rather spend your time with a pessimistic or an optimistic person? My bet would be that you would always rather be with someone with a positive attitude. This optimism is extremely important in your teaching career. This is because your students are no different than you. Pessimism will just bring down your classroom. Smiling is the most effective way to bring up your mood.
