It's extremely important that you do not teach using only one teaching technique like lecture or simulations. Students will get bored leading to disruptions. Further, you will probably lose those students who could benefit from other forms of instruction. This can be challenging for new teachers. When you create your lesson plans, try to vary your techniques from activity to activity and from day to day. For example, if you are lecturing one day, then hold a classroom debate or a simulation the next. Even better, within a class you might want to include short activities such as:
