Educator to Educator

About 2 years ago, I had some marvelous and sweet students. My husband and I had decided not to go as chaperones to Prom. My seniors thought it was because it cost about $20.00 each for us to attend. They pooled their money and presented us with Prom tickets a few days before the event. They were so excited to see us there, and one of their parents told me that her daughter talked more about my attending than anything else. These types of events happen rarely, but when they do they touch the heart.
